The Vaporesso Eco Nano is one of the most popular refillable vapes that you can buy today, and its popularity is in large part due to the fact that it’s specifically designed to be appealing to people who want to step up from disposable vapes to refillable options. It’s shaped like a disposable vape, and it also has a large pod with a capacity of 6 ml to help it compete with disposable devices that last thousands of puffs.
Have you chosen the Eco Nano as your first refillable vape? If so, you’re going to need some pointers on how to use it because refillable devices are very different from disposables.
The small instruction manual included with the Eco Nano is a bit light on the information that you’ll need if you’re using a refillable vape for the first time – so we’re going to fill in the gaps. This is your ultimate guide on how to use the Vaporesso Eco Nano.
How to Charge the Eco Nano
To charge the battery in the Eco Nano, follow these steps.
- Connect the Eco Nano to your computer with a USB-C cable. Like many low-cost vapes, the Eco Nano doesn’t include a charging cable, which means that you’ll need to use your own.
- Wait about an hour for the Eco Nano to charge. When the device is fully charged, the LED turns off.
How to Fill the Eco Nano
One of the major shortcomings of the Eco Nano instruction manual is the fact that it’s written with the assumption that you’ve used at least one refillable vape and will already have a basic idea of how to use the device. Surprisingly, the manual doesn’t even include instructions on how to fill the pod. Here’s what you need to do.
- Remove the pod from the device and discard the sticker on the bottom. To save packaging space, the Eco Nano ships with the pod already installed in the device. The sticker is there to prevent unwanted activation while the device is in the box.
- Turn the pod upside down and locate the silicone plug on the bottom. Remove the plug and add your e-liquid through the filling hole. Stop adding vape juice when the level is almost at the top.
- Replace the plug, put the pod back in the Eco Nano and wait at least five minutes before you start vaping.
Not sure what type of e-liquid to use in your device? The Eco Nano is designed for low-wattage vaping scenarios, and most people will find that it works best with high-strength nicotine salt e-liquids.
How to Vape with the Eco Nano
Once you understand how to charge and fill your device, you’re all set because aside from those two things, using the Eco Nano is just as easy as using a disposable vape. Here’s what you need to do.
- Puff gently on the mouthpiece to vape. Inhale and exhale the vapor in the same way that you would with cigarette smoke.
- Refill the pod when the level of e-liquid is low. You should never allow the vape juice to get below the wick openings on the side of the pod’s metal chimney.
- Recharge the Eco Nano when the LED blinks. The light flashes white 10 times when the battery is dead.
- Replace the pod when you’re no longer happy with the flavor.
How to Fix Problems with the Eco Nano
Although the printed Eco Nano instruction manual is a bit light on information when it comes to using the device, it’s even worse when it comes to fixing problems because the manual contains no troubleshooting information at all. Here’s what you should do if you have a problem with your Eco Nano.
Eco Nano Not Working
If your Eco Nano isn’t generating vapor when you puff on it, the device isn’t working. Here’s what you should do.
- Make sure that you’ve removed the sticker from the bottom of the pod.
- Charge the battery.
- Check for a leak under the pod and dry the device completely.
- Make sure that the connection points inside the Eco Nano and on the bottom of the pod are clean.
Eco Nano Not Charging
The LED on your Eco Nano should illuminate white when you connect it to a power source with a USB cable. If that doesn’t happen – and your device isn’t working, which indicates that you do need to charge the battery – here’s what you should do.
- Charge the Eco Nano with a different USB cable. Old USB cables can be unreliable, and using a different cable will most likely resolve the problem.
- Try connecting the Eco Nano to a different power source. You should always charge your vape with your computer if possible, but you can also use a low-amperage wall charger.
- Make sure that the Eco Nano’s USB port is clean. You can use a toothpick to remove dust and lint.
Eco Nano Tastes Burnt
If you get a burnt flavor when using the Eco Nano, here’s what you should do.
- When you fill a new pod for the first time, always wait at least five minutes before vaping. You need to be sure that the pod’s cotton wick is fully saturated.
- Check the pod to make sure that it isn’t empty.
- Replace the pod. It could simply be that the pod is beginning to produce a burnt flavor because of e-liquid residue. An Eco Nano pod typically lasts about a week.
Eco Nano Leaking
Do you see e-liquid under the pod in your Eco Nano? Dry it completely with a paper towel and then do the following.
- Don’t puff so hard when you vape. Small vapes with tight airflow like the Eco Nano are designed for gentle puffing only.
- Don’t overfill your pod. Leave a little room for the stopper.
- When you refill your pod, make sure that the stopper is securely closed.
Eco Nano Blinking
If your Eco Nano is blinking when you try to use it, here’s what you need to do.
- Charge the battery. If the battery is dead, the LED will blink 10 times.
- Take shorter puffs. If you puff on the Eco Nano for more than 10 seconds, the LED will blink twice.
